IMS: the company at a glance
IMS designs and builds world class assembly machines for small and accurate products. Basis in our assembly machines is the very high accuracy. We feel comfortable in the sub-micron range. We serve you with 20 years of knowledge in several processes like gluing, cleaning, curing, (active) aligning, testing, laser (welding, cutting, engraving), pressing. Your production facilities worldwide can be served by IMS.
Application: Lidar
Automated manufacturing of Lidar needs a high knowledge level of active aligning of products including optics. The quality of the assembly, based on this active aligning, contributes to the quality of the (several types of) final Lidar.

Application: Camera
IMS developed it’s own 6 Degrees Of Freedom Active Aligning station (6DOF - AA). This is not meant as a stand-alone station, but forms a key station in our balanced assembly line concept called AION. We give real meaning to the phrase “one stop shopping”. Furthermore, IMS developed a brand new way (patent pending) to split the aligning step, from the curing step, making much shorter cycle times, or other glue types, possible.
Application: Camera Lenses
Hundreds of million of camera lenses are already assembled on assembly machines from IMS. We know how to assemble your high volume lenses as well. Core technology either based on optical alignment or active alignment. Quality check based on (p.e.) MTF per lens or per objective.
Application: Light Modules
Newest headlights in automotive need newest light modules, so the industry needs the newest assembly technology: IMS develops and builds automated assembly lines for: Matrix light modules, microLED light modules and DMD light modules.
