He held various international assignments in Product Development, Marketing & Sales and Strategy & Business Development. Since October 2016 he works as an independent Advisor in automotive sales & marketing, strategy, and business development. Leo is one of the organisers of this Lidar Conference.

Mattieu Dabek is a mechanical engineer and ADAS expert in the R&D division of PSA since 2016 He has been working for the PSA group since 1998 and more specifically in the ADAS domain since 2003. First as a project manager of cruise control and speed limitation functions, then more innovative and complex functions with dominant electronics and high dependability issues (Collision Warning, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Intelligent Cruise Control )

I was then responsible for the functional design of the first wave of ADAS recently deployed on PSA vehicles (Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, Speed Limit Recognition, Driver Monitoring, Video Park assistance)

Guillaume Point has been working as an engineer in the innovation department of Groupe PSA since 2019, focusing on sensor technologies for the development of new ADAS/AD functions. After defending a Ph.D. on nonlinear optics in 2015 at the Ecole Polytechnique, he joined the French Aerospace Lab ONERA as a radar engineer specializing in radar signal processing. He then went to THALES in 2018, pursuing his activities in algorithmics dedicated to airborne radar.

From 1981 to 1986 he made Electronical Engineering Studies at TU Darmstadt From 1987 to 2001, Wolfgang worked at BMW as head of testing lighting then as Head of Production Planning Electrics / Eletronics.

In 1999, he got the PHD at TU Darmstadt, Lighting department Eletronics From 2001 to 2005 Audi AG, Dr Huhn was at the Head of Development Lighting and Switches From 2006, he is Head of Development Lighting and Vision Systems at Audi.

Dr Huhn is one of the foremost worldwide experts in automotive lighting, and has greatly influenced the evolution of lighting technologies.He got two important awards :

In 2011 Professor Ferdinand Porsche Award for introduction LED-headlight in automotive, University Vienna Austria.

In 2002, Dr. Yang Ji began his studies of computer science at Friedrich Schiller University Jena in Germany and pursued his doctoral degree at TU Munich in the field of Computational Modeling and Simulation under the supervision of Professor Dr. André Borrmann in 2012.

In 2013, Dr. Yang Ji started his career at the industrial group Siemens. In the business area of Digital Factory, Dr. Ji was responsible for the digital transformation of development processes throughout the product life cycle in automotive groups.

In 2018, Dr. Ji founded LiangDao Intelligence together with other three Co-Founders. Since then, he is in charge of LiangDao in Germany.

Dipl.-Ing. Stephan Berlitz  (born 1966) has been Head of  Lighting Innovations/Functions at Audi AG in Ingolstadt in Germany since 2004. 
After his degree in electrical engineering at the Technical University of Munich, wherehe wrote his  dissertation on the variable light distribution of vehicle.

George has a master´s degree in sustainable product development and a completed degree in project management.

In addition to his new role as a father Georg Pitterle has been at ZKW since 2018. He is leading projects in the pre-development, focused on automotive sensor applications. Here he is responsible for LiDAR integration in the headlamp and the development of design driven cleaning solutions for better sensor sight.

Georg is in the project lead of ZKWs AD Development Car "Project Dragonfly" which is also the main demonstrator in the field of sensor integration and highly automated driving.

Studied electrical engineering at university of applied science in Regensburg.  Joined OSRAM OS in 2010. Since that 8 years of experience in various visible LED applications. Since 2018 supporting the OS – IR Laser team as application engineer with special focus on LIDAR.

Ulrich Hofmann studied Physics at the university of Marburg. In 1994 he joined the MEMS department of Fraunhofer ISIT in Itzehoe and initiated ISIT's MEMS mirror technology development in 1995. Leading Fraunhofer ISIT's MEMS mirror team for almost 25 years he decided to found his own company OQmented as a spin-off of Fraunhofer ISIT in April 2018. OQmented is a supplier of MEMS mirror based laser scanning solutions for automotive, consumer and industrial applications. As managing director of OQmented Ulrich Hofmann left Fraunhofer in March 2019.
